My Beloved Mother's Story  

 I reverted to Islam when I was 18 and my Mom taught I was throwing my life away. Little did she and I know that Allah had decreed for her to accept Islam a year an half later Masha Allah. This was such a ni’mah from Allah. It wasn’t easy but through reasoning and du’a Allah helped me. She was Christian but not practicing until I became Muslim, they always do that they forget their religion until a family member or especially their children come with something different. So we started to discuss Islam and why I choose it. I told her I could not understand the trinity and the concept that 1+1+1=1 mathematically that doesn’t make sense. So I ask her to explain and she couldn’t. Than I said I couldn’t understand why is it that God is all Powerful and Strong and can do whatever He pleases without the help of no one but still He need to take and son and let this son die on the cross to save all of mankind. When in fact He could have cleanses the People of their sins without that. Also if you have a only Son would you make him died just to save all of mankind who don’t even care about you or your son. She said no.

Also why do you call Jesus the Son of God? Because Mary conceive him without a father. Ok. But lets look at the creation of Adam. Allah {God} created him without a mother or a father and He blow the sprit in him and gave him life, before he was dry clay.

 So if anyone had the right to be worship wouldn’t it be Adam and not Jesus, because any logical person can see that Adam’s creation is more of a miracle and greater than Jesus. Jesus was created without a father but he was carried in Mary’s womb and as for the rest of us we were created from a mother and a father. This Mom is just Allah’s way of showing is signs to creation for them to think and to show how powerful He is and when He decree a thing He say’s Be and it is.  

So why is it as Christians you don’t worship Adam and look at how Allah created Eve this was from Adam’s rib and she was a living,walking,woman. So can you see how Allah is all-powerful and is in no need for or to take any of His creations as a Son or daughter? He is in no need of any of us but we are in need of Him .He doesn’t sleep drink or eat He is the All- Sufficient.

Just before Jesus was to be crucified he when into the garden on Gethsemane, bow down and prayed. Who was he praying to? If he was God or the Son of God why would he need to pray to God for help. Could it be that he was praying to himself. That doesn’t make any sense. Also in the early copies of the bible where in it have you got Jesus saying worship me I am God or that I’m the son of God so worship me. The powers which Jesus had was signs given to him from Allah to prove that he was a Prophet. Each Prophet was given a miracle as prove of their prophet hood. Jesus was sent at a time when there was a lot of diseases so Allah bestowed upon him the ability to cure people. David was given the psalms and Salomon was given the ability to speak to the animals and the Prophet Muhammad was given the Quraan at his time the people was into poetry and he was il- literate.

She said ok. But what about in the bible Jesus say I am the way the true and the light and no cometh to thy Father but through me. Ok that may be a true statement, so lets analysis it. I am the way, what was Jesus way like,how did he worship this means his sunnah of how he worship Allah and He is telling his followers that non of you will get to Paradise unless you worship Allah God the way in which he worshiped God.

He came with the true, which is the worship of one God. He came to take the people out of the dark of associating partners with Allah. So he is saying if you worship God the way he is to be worship the way Jesus worship Him than you will get to Jannah. It doesn’t mean that when you pray you must say in the name of Jesus amen. That’s the wrong meaning of the verse.

Also have you got any doctrine to say how Jesus worship or what he was like? No. So why do you call herself Christian? If you don’t know what he was like. also in the bible you have 4 books written by people with only there first name . This is the first time in history that you can accept a doctrine written by 4 people who forget to put their last name. If I gave you a check or I tell you someone phone for you but they only left their first name would you accept the check or know who phoned for you? No. So how comes in your religion you can accept 4 doctrines written by people claming to be the Disciples of Christ but they forgot their last names. That doesn’t make sense.

We call ourselves Muslim and our religion is Islam. The words are only Arabic that’s why it seems strange. But Islam means submission and one who submits to Allah and follow what He says is called a Muslim. We do not worship Muhammad so we aren’t called Muhammadans. We are not following the religion of the Arabs. With Jesus he spoke Ammaric and that was what the first copy ofthe Bible was written in. So how comes you have your Bible in English. With the Quraan we have both Arabic and English.

The quraan was revealed in Arabic because that was the language the Prophet Muhammad spoke. It’s word that is strange but this is what all the prophet was sent with the worship of one God. Nothing more and nothing less.

Also with your children you want us to obey who and listen to you and take your advice, because you gave birth to us. Well, it’s a similar situation with Allah He created us and He want us to worship Him alone and obey only Him because He gave us everything that we have. So why should we worship someone else with Him, and when we listen to auntie or Dad instead of you,  you don’t like it. So just imagine Allah, which is above all of this.

All I’m saying Mom is for you to think about all that I said and don’t just follow your parents or the people before them. Tell me does what I just said make sense or not? It make sense, but what about the prayer the covering ect. I know it’s all strange but these things will come in time Insha Allah. But what you are doing is even a greater sin than that which is associating partners with Allah and to say that He has a son.  If you say the Sahaadah , and whenever you ask for anything from God never ever mention Jesus at the end of it. That’s all that I’m saying: worship one God and only ask from Him and call upon Him alone and everything will work out Insha Allah. So I said to her what do you want? She said I want what you want. I said I want you to be Muslim and she said she wanted that as well. So she took her sahaada and that was 5 years ago. Alhamdulillahi rabila ala lameen. May Allah preserve her and keep her strong on the Deen, and the rest of us. Don’t give up make du’a and still try whenever you get the chance and reason with them on their level.
